Sumus On the 6 May 2008 Sumus Plc and Lighthouse Group Plc completed their merger to create the largest autonomous listed IFA / Wealth Management Group. As of the 2 May 2008 Sumus Plc changed status to Sumus Ltd. Financial Synergies Plc was launched in 2004. Sumus Plc was admitted to AIM in February 2005. FSAS was acquired in September 2006 adding a further 160 advisers based predominately in Scotland and the North of England. Sumus is committed to providing independent financial advice and each of our businesses provide IFA services to clients and associated IFA firms. With over 300 professional advisers, Sumus serves the financial needs of 125,000 clients throughout the UK, covering such matters as investments, pensions, protection, mortgages and tax planning, and representing in excess of £2 billion assets under advice. Following FSA approval in December 2006, Falcon Group Plc launches ‘The Brunel Funds’ investment proposition in February 2007. This ‘Fund of Funds’ asset management facility gives Sumus the ability to provide further value from offering Independent Financial Advice and associated investment management services.
